The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) was founded in 1792 and is the world's largest stock exchange in terms of trading volume and capitalization.

Trading on the NYSE

A company wishing to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange must meet the following conditions:

  • The total value of the company's shares at the exchange rate must be above US $ 19 million.
  • The total value of shares in free trade must exceed $ 1.1 million.
  • All tangible assets must be over $ 18 million.
  • The company's net profit for the previous two years should be more than USD 3 million.
  • The company's profit for the last calendar year must equal or exceed $ 2.7 million.
  • The amount from trading stocks and assets for a month within the last six months must be 100 thousand US dollars or more.
